Francis Online Rapid Swiss

Format

• 5 rounds of G/15;d0 (Game in 15 minutes with no delay/increment)
• First round starting promptly at 6:00 PM CDT with following rounds directly after (No breaks)
• Online via chess.com

• Open to all chess players
• USCF membership required
• Only 50 seats available

Entry Fee

• $5 per player

• Online only at King Registration
• Registration deadline: 8/2/2024 at 4:00 PM CDT

Rules and How to Participate

• Rules:

  • Only registered players are eligible to play.
  • All games will be played with a G/15 time control.
  • Fair play is strictly enforced.

• How to Participate:

  1. Register: Go to King Registration and register for the tournament.
  2. Pay Entry Fee: The $5 entry fee must be paid at the time of your registration.
  3. Prepare: Make sure you have a stable internet connection and are familiar with the online chess platform.
  4. Join Chess.com Club: Join the Francis Online Rapid Swiss club on Chess.com.
     • When requesting to join, include your USCF ID, Name (as it appears on USCF membership), and email (same as when registering)  in the request.
  5. Join the Tournament: Submit your request to join the club at least 15 minutes prior to the tournament start time. Then join the tournament in the Chess.com Live Chess system before 6:00 PM CDT.
