5 rounds, Swiss System, USCF rated (blitz rated; will not affect regular ratings), Open format

Time control: G/5 + 2 second increment

Time: 7:00 PM-8:30 PM CST 

Entry Fees: $10 dollars (donation of $1-2 is suggested to cover the PayPal expenses)

Place Prizes: Cash prizes; 1st Place – $50; 2nd Place – $25 (Guaranteed)
Class Prizes: May be given depending on turnout. 

Higher of USCF standard and blitz ratings will be used for pairings and prizes. All players’ official ratings will be used per the USCF rating supplement for the tournament month. Class prizes based on ratings may be given out depending on turnout. as described above.  Based on turnout, format may change at TD discretion.

Directions: We recommend parking in the front of the Cheesecake Factory and coming to the ground floor using the elevator or escalator. We are located past the last Pickleball Court, on the left side. You will see a vertical Chess Cardinals Banner on the window. Restrooms are located on the ground floor near the Tabla Indian Restaurant.
